Well, so far I'm sticking to my plan for one portrait a week for Avery. In case you're wondering, the wrap is from Anthropologie... best store on earth. They should have an Anthropologie "Kids" store. Wait, no... I'd go broke.

That has to be shannon's eyes!! she is absolutely gorgeous. so happy to see her with her eyes open...little angel!
(04.28.09)i think those beautiful blue eyes are sticking amy!!!!! love this. love her. and what the heck did you do to pokey in that post up there huh!?!?
(05.02.09)hahaha... his face is priceless. I bribed him with a treat.... he wouldn't give a doggy smile, but I thought his sticking the tongue out was perfect! And yes, I do think Avery may keep her blue eyes... they are getting lighter. You need to come and visit us!
(05.03.09)Hi Amy! Your hubbie Shannon is bidding a job for our engineering firm. Hard to get details sometimes between all the baby stories! HA! He's such a proud daddy and sent us to your blog to check out Avery. She's just as beautiful as he had described.
Avery is so beautiful. Your photographs are amazing. I would love for you to take some pics of Anna Claire. Tell Amanda "Congrats". Hope all is well.

I have decided to challenge myself to one portrait of Avery every week for her first year. And of course I'll have to share them on this nifty blog. Technically I'd end up with 52 photos but since I've just decided and she's already 8 weeks old... I'll just have to double up for a couple of weeks to catch up. I hope I can keep it up. Hmmm. where will I begin? Oh, I know.... why not place her on a beautiful antique scale? My sister has a really neat collection of antique scales and this is my favorite one. I hope you like it too. I'm throwing in a couple of extra pics for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy.

And who doesn't just love little baby feet? I could just bite them..

Beautiful pictures. Beautiful Avery.

...is not something I can get from this little munchkin when I've got my camera in hand. Oh, and she wants to see the picture "in the back of the camera" everytime I click the shutter! haha She loves life and just soaks up her environment anywhere she goes. I've never met a more enthusiastic 3 year-old and I just love her so. I was lucky to get only a handful of shots of her looking straight at the camera. Here's a sneak peek for my little "Bedelia".

ames, your photos are stunning, you should be shooting covers for magazines! and what can i say about your model- one short week and i'm hooked. i miss all 4 of you "a" girls!
