Oh, wait... is it too late for that? Yes, I have definitely been slacking on my blog. A new year's resolution of mine was to stay "on top of things and be more organized". Well, that went out the window right away. I've already got piles of paper building up, and of course preparing for taxes but that's another story. I did manage to travel to Baltimore to learn from the awesome Jodie Otte. It was a great trip, I learned alot and made a new BFF... Tina Stinson. Tina is a photographer in Billings, Montana and is super sweet and talented.
Anyhoo... I am so excited because I've been given another chance to get organized. We are adding on an office to our house. Yippee! I can't wait! Especially since I am working from my dining room table. Once Avery started crawling and getting around, I had to move my work downstairs to keep an eye on her, and well, my work took over the dining room. It's not very fancy to have guests eat dinner on a table with a computer on it and stacks of paper (messy stacks of paper I might add). Pretty soon my paper stacks may turn into place mats, ha!
So, now it's time for me to get things in high gear and "get on the good foot" as James Brown would say, hee hee. Here a a few from a recent session. Enjoy.

"Grab your coat and get your hat. Leave your worry on the doorstep... Just direct your feet to the sunny side of the street."
How cute is this little guy?!! I picked up the mohawk hat the day before the session; baby's mom made the elf hat the night before, and the little black hat was brought by his Grandmother. It belonged to his Great Uncle... Oh how I love a good family heirloom, so sweet. Thanks guys for a fun session! Oh and also thanks to the makers of Talking Elmo which provoked many smiles for this session. Ha!

OK, yeah, he's the cutest! The one with his hand on the floor almost looks like he's in a 3pt. stance, ready to play for the Saints:) Great Job Amy, as if kids aren't already precious, you always know how to make 'em even cuter, I didn't think that was possible! ...I LOVE him~ Nanny

Today my brother Andy brought over his beautiful (and gigantic I might add) dog, Buster. If only Buster would have stood up next to Avery, you'd be able to see his massive size. In fact, when he stands with his paws on my brother's shoulders he's nearly 6 feet tall. Now all we need is a custom-made saddle so Avery can hop on and go for a ride! Note: my child does smile all the time... but she gets this intense look every time I break out the camera. Is she trying to tell me something?? Hmmmmm..... hahaha!

These cuties had me working hard! Very spunky, adorable and oh so sweet. I'd never met her before, but I got a hug from the little miss right when she arrived. Many thanks to mom for being such a good sport. You are sooooo photogenic btw:)

This post is probably overkill, but I can't help it. I feel like singing, "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas"! I'm so proud of myself, I finally got my tree up early this year. Had this baby up a week before Thanksgiving. Now I need really cold weather so I can crank up the fireplace, aahhhh!
