Ok so I usually recommend shooting newborns within the first 10 days... newbies are usually easier to curl into cozy poses, are sleepier etc etc. But there are always exceptions to the rule. This little one is a seven weeker folks! Posing like a champ and totally rocking her session. And I just love her puffy lips and chub. Then her lashes.. perfection. Here are a few from her session...

My dog Pokey (my first baby) is seriously afraid of thunder. He finds lots of places to hide when it's stormy out and often he'll come over to me so that he can sit on my lap and hide his face in my armpit, ha! The other day, there was a storm rolling in just as I was heading to Avery's room to wake her from her nap. And here comes Pokey, scared of the thunder as usual... just looking for a place to cower. Well, being the good little mama that I am, I scooped him up to comfort him and plopped him right into Avery's crib with her! He figured it was a good place to be and curled up in the corner... even chilled out long enough for me to run and grab the camera. These pics are nothing special and kinda outta focus, but so what... they show a sweet moment with my two babies:)
