Bookworm...

Miss Olivia came to her session with her favorite book in tow and it coordinated perfectly with her adorable dress! She was so adventurous and impressed me by speaking Spanish AND French. This little girl is one smart cookie! Umm yeah... a two and a half-year old with foreign languages; I was feeling pretty foolish when all i could recognize was "chocolate" in spanish. Hmmm... can you say Rosetta Stone?? I think I may have to call them!

Ava Beans...

My little one is growing up way to fast! I am really going to make an effort to take more photos of her before the year is over. Now, as I have expressed in the past; I am not a big fan of extra large hair accessories... I think they just distract from a child's adorable little face. And let's face it, sometimes they can look down right goofy. (you know it folks, you've seen the ones!) But this blue flower at the top of my closet was calling out to me, "use me, use me!" Yeah, it's as big as Avery's head but i went for it. It'll probably be the last time I put something this big on her head but at least I tried it and she looks darn cute i must say:)

6 months... I love to photograph babies at this age! They are finally sitting up; you just sit 'em right down... and they just sit and smile. I love his face in this first shot though... you can hear him thinking "lady, why am I sitting in a bucket?!" He was so sweet and I had a great time taking his photos:)

I talked about bribing kids for photos in the last post... This adorable munchkin was easy to bribe too... candy was the choice. She would nibble on her Hello Kitty Marshmallow Lollipop here and there and it seemed to do the trick.. some of the time, ha! She was so so cute and full of personality. Here's Miss Elle... (and her lovely mommy)
