How in the heck did I get her to stand still with the flower in her hair? Bribery.

I have decided to challenge myself to one portrait of Avery every week for her first year. And of course I'll have to share them on this nifty blog. Technically I'd end up with 52 photos but since I've just decided and she's already 8 weeks old... I'll just have to double up for a couple of weeks to catch up. I hope I can keep it up. Hmmm. where will I begin? Oh, I know.... why not place her on a beautiful antique scale? My sister has a really neat collection of antique scales and this is my favorite one. I hope you like it too. I'm throwing in a couple of extra pics for your viewing pleasure. Enjoy.

And who doesn't just love little baby feet? I could just bite them..

Beautiful pictures. Beautiful Avery.

...is not something I can get from this little munchkin when I've got my camera in hand. Oh, and she wants to see the picture "in the back of the camera" everytime I click the shutter! haha She loves life and just soaks up her environment anywhere she goes. I've never met a more enthusiastic 3 year-old and I just love her so. I was lucky to get only a handful of shots of her looking straight at the camera. Here's a sneak peek for my little "Bedelia".

ames, your photos are stunning, you should be shooting covers for magazines! and what can i say about your model- one short week and i'm hooked. i miss all 4 of you "a" girls!

Poor Avery... she has no idea the torture she is in for. If she were more cooperative at this point... I'd be taking photos of her every day. I just love little baby hats and I just had to have this one. It's handmade by Adrienne Kinsella and you can find her shop on Etsy.com at http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5376210. Getting this shot was not easy I tell ya. Note to moms... when you want those naked, curled up newborn photos, it is best to do it within the first two weeks of life when they can still curl up nice and tight. Avery gave me a hard time with this one... I had to shove her little legs underneath her belly (gently of course) and she wasn't havin' it. I can't wait until she can sit up, smile, giggle, etc. What fun will that be!

she had to have great looking parents! She is just tooooo cute ! Linda
