When it's middle of summer and too hot for an outdoor session, whaddya do?? You bring it indoors! This was such a great session with such great kids, i love them in their jammies:-)

Sometimes when you get to sit back a minute and think about things you occasionally get those "ha!" or "wow" moments. Like "wow, how time has gone by". Or "ha, that was so funny when such and such happened"! I went to college with this awesome guy and girl (they were together then too); we were total goofballs (lots of things come to mind, ha!), had no responsibilities really and partied a lot. It was such fun times and I love thinking back on those things. And then here were are about a decade and a half later and I'm photographing them and their precious family. Sure we lost touch from time to time but I love when you re-connect with friends and just pick up where you left off, that always means so much to me.
It's crazy how you just don't know how things will play out... I certainly didn't think I'd be a photographer and I certainly didn't think I'd be involved in something as sweet as capturing some great memories of them with their beautiful children. Thanks guys for trusting me with these, you have an amazing little family:) xoxo

Anyhoo, I've really enjoyed shooting outdoors these last few months with the weather being
so nice but oh boy it's already getting hot out! Please keep in mind, I do not offer outdoor sessions June-August, but newborn sessions are welcome since those are done indoors.

I had the best time photographing this beautiful girl. She was up for anything; sitting in a mega swarm of mosquitos, climbing into a rotted-out tree trunk, and making obnoxious faces and sounds (which i forced her to do, lol) She was a total trooper and never complained once... I have a feeling that lots of people enjoy being around her 'cause she's got the best sense of humor and made me giggle a ton! It made me miss my high school BFF, i think I'll call her today:)
